A Coming of Age at 40
Recreating Alina is a comedy about the wacky paradigm shift of Alina Love. As a woman of 'a certain age', she now needs to reinvent herself. In a world where youth rules, economies crash and spiritual journeys can be spooky or out right boring, how can she get her sexy back?
Alina takes on the challenge with the help of her friends. Lei and Tracey are with her every step of the way. They help Alina to experiment and find her place in the spiritual, romantic and physical arenas. Their ‘help’ wrecks havoc and brings humorous chaos to Alina’s project of self discovery.
The purpose of Recreating Alina is to bring hope, encouragement and laughter to the process of rebuilding. As politicians argue how to restore the economy, Recreating Alina brings laughter as Alina buckles down and starts to rebuild her own little world.....in an 'I Love Lucy' sort of way.
